Manual Handling (3 hours)
This short manual handling in the work place course is designed to give students an appreciation of how back injuries occur through incorrect lifting. It offers advice on how to lift objects safely and the use of common handling aids. All students receive a certificate of attendance.
This course is very useful for any staff required to lift or handle heavy or awkward objects as part of their work. Employers who have provided manual handling training and obtained manual handling certification have shown a commitment to avoiding back injuries at work.
