Based near Fareham in Hampshire, Avocet Medical is ideally placed to teach both maritime and shore-based first aid - being one of the few providers in the country to be accredited to the Health and Safety Executive and the Maritime Coastguard Agency for first aid training.

In November 2005, new guidelines on resuscitation were published in the UK, Europe and the USA. These guidelines represent significant changes in the way resuscitation is delivered. Consequently as of 1st April 2006, Avocet Medical incorporated these changes into all of its first aid training courses which we deliver throughout Hampshire.
